I purchased this because I thought my kids would get a kick out of it. Top Quality Liquid Lies (Mystery, Thriller, Suspense) . It is cute and it works well, but you have to trim the butter stick considerably to make it fit, which is a bit messy and wasteful (not to mention an extra step I would prefer to not have to deal with). In addition, you can only fit about half of the length of the butter stick in it. Attractive Safari Ltd Carnegie Elasmosaurus . I read somewhere else that there is a difference between east coast and west coast butter sizes (which seems ridiculous) – I live on the east coast and our butter does NOT fit. I would have preferred the plain white one my in-laws have that the entire stick fits into neatly, although it isn’t as cute. Also, the apron on the butter girl is a STICKER – when you receive it, the instructions tell you to remove the sticker before washing, then replace it. I didn’t tell my husband this, and he put it in the dishwasher, so now the sticker is destroyed and I had to scrape it off (which left a sticky ring).
First seen this butter girl girl over at a friends house and thought it was so neat that i came home and order one for each of my kids…….it is so neat to butter corn now….we just love it….and you could use it on lots other things too…..
Butter Boy makes buttering corn-on-the-cob easy and fun. Just insert 1/2 stick of butter, pop the top, and start buttering.
